Edition:

The panel, which consists of two planks joined horizontally, is bevelled on three sides with the upper edge showing only slight bevelling. The painted surface seems to be in good condition with most of its colours nicely preserved, like for example the impasto on the trees. Discoloured retouches can be seen around the join, and on the left near the birds. UV: the varnish layer fluoresces largely showing scattered retouches in the sky area foremostly, along the join, some in the water as mentioned above, and some around the edges. Frame: brown plain wooden frame with gold elements.
